The Florida Bible Church congregation has both Florida residents and seasonal visitors from many other states. Members worship with us from the local communities of Englewood, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte & Rotonda.
Our church services contain Biblical preaching, a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music and we are blessed with a worship team who leads our time of worship as well as utilizing recorded tracks, on occasion as appropriate.
We are keen on reaching families and offer children’s church for those up to 5th grade. We also offer a nursery for children below school age. We are working on beginning a youth work to attract middle and high school students.
We engage with our community and, as a church, participate in several activities that take place in Englewood yearly, namely Safewalk (the community’s answer to trick or treat – a parade and local businesses and not-for-profits offering candy and other treats which all takes place on Dearborn Street) and Pioneer Days (an annual celebration of Old Englewood with a parade and a vendor area in Pioneer Park on Dearborn Street). When other opportunities present themselves in the community which will enable us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people, Florida Bible Church will be there!
We are committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in everything that we do. We are also committed to enabling Christians to grow in their faith and knowledge of Scripture and, to that end, offer three separate Bible studies each week as well as other opportunities to learn and grow.
Everyone is welcome to Florida Bible Church! We warmly welcome newcomers and regular attenders to our services and other activities and you will find a wonderful community of believers who follow Jesus Christ as their Savior.
